Dappcon 2026 Conference –Ticketing

Article 1 – Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter “Terms”) apply to any ticket order placed through (i) the website www.dappcon.io (hereinafter “Website”) or (ii) the Gnosis App, which is operated by Gnosis Ecosystem (Cayman) Ltd and is accessible via app.gnosis.io and as a progressive web app (hereinafter “Gnosis App”), for attendance of the “Dappcon 2026” conference organised by Gnosis Service GmbH, Glogauer Str. 6, 10999 Berlin, Germany (hereinafter “Organiser”).
Any order implies acceptance of these Terms by the purchaser (hereinafter “Purchaser”).
Article 2 – Purpose
These Terms govern the sale of entry tickets for the Dappcon 2026 conference taking place on 16–17 June 2026 at Radialsystem, Holzmarktstraße 33, 10243 Berlin, Germany.
Article 3 – Orders and Booking Procedures
Tickets are available for sale via the Website and via the Gnosis App. Tickets are issued and managed using the Unlock Protocol on the Gnosis blockchain. Further information about Unlock Protocol is available at: https://unlock-protocol.com
The ticket is only valid for the date(s) indicated on it and cannot be used for or exchanged to any other date
Tickets are personal and non-transferable and must be presented at the entrance (either printed or on a mobile device). The Organiser reserves the right to verify the ticket holder's identity upon entry and may refuse entry in the case of an invalid, falsified or unpaid ticket.
For security reasons, attendees may be subject to appropriate security checks at the entrance. Access may be denied to anyone refusing such checks.
Tickets purchased may not, without the Organiser’s prior written consent, be used for advertising, promotional, commercial, media or public-relations purposes, contests or lotteries, or be combined with hospitality, travel or accommodation services or any other merchandise, product or service to create a package for sale or distribution.
Article 4 – Prices and Payment
Ticket prices are denominated as follows:
Website purchases: Tickets are priced in xDAI. If payment is made by credit card or other fiat payment methods, the ticket price is denominated in USD and the Purchaser bears all costs associated with currency exchange rates, payment service fees, and payment processor fees.
Gnosis App purchases: Tickets are priced in gCRC (Gnosis Circles).
The Organiser may adjust ticket prices at any time with effect for future purchases only. Tickets are charged at the price applicable at the time the order is placed.
All blockchain-based transactions are processed via the Unlock Protocol on the Gnosis blockchain and are subject to network fees (gas fees) borne by the Purchaser. When paying with credit card or other fiat methods, payment processing is handled by third-party payment processors selected by the Organiser.
The Purchaser acknowledges that blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed on the network.
Article 5 – No Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with § 312g(2) No. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB), the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the provision of services in the leisure sector if the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance.
All ticket orders are therefore final and non-refundable, subject only to Article 6 below.
Article 6 – Cancellation, Modification, and Refund
Event cancellation by the Organiser: tickets will be fully refunded within 30 days following the originally scheduled event end date. Refunds for payments made in xDAI or gCRC will be processed in the same cryptocurrency at the equivalent token amount paid at the time of the original purchase, subject to technical feasibility. Refunds for credit card payments will be processed in the original fiat currency.
Event rescheduling: tickets remain valid for the new date. If the Purchaser is unable to attend the new date, they may request a refund within 14 days of the rescheduling announcement
Force majeure Force majeure (e.g. pandemics, governmental restrictions, natural disasters): the Organiser may cancel or reschedule the event or offer a credit for future events. Refund requests will be assessed in line with applicable statutory provisions.
No-show or early departure: no refund will be provided
Article 7 – Access to the Event
The Purchaser agrees to comply with all safety rules, venue regulations, and the Organiser's code of conduct.
The Organiser may refuse entry to, or remove from the venue, anyone whose behavior may disrupt the proper conduct of the event, pose a safety risk, or violate the code of conduct, without refund.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Article 8 – Liability
The Organiser cannot be held liable for any loss, theft or damage to personal property suffered by participants during the event, except in cases of intent or gross negligence by the Organiser or its vicarious agents.
The Organiser's liability for damages arising from ticket purchase or event attendance is limited to the amount of the ticket price paid, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, or injury to life, body or health, or where liability cannot be limited under mandatory statutory provisions.
The Organiser is not liable for any fluctuations in cryptocurrency exchange rates, network congestion, transaction failures, or lost private keys associated with blockchain-based ticket purchases.
Article 9 – Personal Data
9.1 The Organiser, Gnosis Service GmbH, Glogauer Str. 6, 10999 Berlin, Germany, is the controller for the processing of personal data in connection with the purchase and use of tickets for Dappcon 2026, whether tickets are purchased via the Website or via third-party applications such as the Gnosis App.
9.2 We process your personal data (such as name, contact details, ticketing and payment information and, where applicable, wallet address and related identifiers) for the purposes of handling your ticket purchase, providing you with information about the event and managing access to the venue, on the legal basis of performance of a contract and, where required, compliance with legal obligations or our legitimate interests.
9.3 For the on‑chain issuance and management of tickets and for check‑in at the conference, we use the Unlock Protocol as a technical service provider. This involves processing of wallet addresses and on‑chain identifiers on the Gnosis blockchain. Further information about Unlock Protocol can be found at https://unlock-protocol.com
9.4 Further details on the categories of data processed, the purposes and legal bases, the recipients of data, any transfers to third countries, retention periods and your rights under Articles 12–22 GDPR (including rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent) are set out in our Privacy Policy, available at https://dappcon.io/privacy-policy. 9.5 You may exercise your data protection rights at any time by contacting us at dataprotection@gnosis-gmbh.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, in particular the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
Article 10 – Photography and Recording
The event may be photographed, filmed or otherwise recorded. By attending the event, the Purchaser acknowledges that they may be incidentally identifiable in such recordings and consents to the use of their image and likeness in documentation and promotional materials relating to Dappcon, in accordance with applicable data protection law, unless they object by contacting the Organiser before or during the event.
Article 11 – Intellectual Property
All content, materials, and presentations at Dappcon 2026 are protected by intellectual property rights. Unauthorized recording, reproduction, or distribution of conference content is prohibited unless explicitly permitted by the Organiser or individual speakers.

Article 13 – Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by German law, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or ticket purchases shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Berlin, Germany.
